Well, this morning I found out that she, too, just got engaged. WHAT?!?!?!?!?! NO WAY! I'm the last one who hasn't written off my boy! SAD! When she first told me she was engaged, for a short time I lost hope in my ability to wait. I thought for sure that if anyone would wait for their missionary it would be her. I hung out with her and her boy enough to think that they were meant to be! However... I'm so so happy for her and her fiance. She's very excited and is 100% sure it's the right thing to do. So who am I to complain? I just can't believe that I'm the last one waiting!
I have to break the news to Colton--he might take it harder than her actual missionary will! Ok, probably not. But... I am nervous to tell him. He'll be just as shocked as I am, and probably worried about me waiting, too. I'm determined to beat the odds (but that doesn't mean I can't have fun while doing so...). Wish me luck! (Statistics seem to prove I'll need it...)

You are so marrying the cute missionary in Antofagasta... sorry to break it to you (& to Colton, who did just send me a B-Day card).

What's that comment from Joel all about.... carls jr.???
For some reason he thinks that I'm going to be engaged before I turn 21. If I am, I owe him Carls Jr. But since I'm not going to be, he owes me Cafe Rio. It's a pretty sweet deal :)
good luck on waiting! hopefully he comes back and it is just as good or better than when he left! But if you find someone else in the meantime... I am sure that will be great too!
Well you know the odds!! 2% actually marry the one they are waiting for! My best friend waited and HE came home and dumped her for a girl he met in the mission! Who knew it went that way!! I DJ my missionary boy! Soooooo
GREAT LUCK to you! It's hard waiting when there are so many options! BUT it absolutely can be done!! If it's meant to be it will happen!! :)
